About

Bhargav Writes is a working notebook on how money and businesses actually behave, written for people who'd rather understand something than be sold on it.

I'm Bhargav, a student of accounting and business who spends more time than is probably healthy reading annual reports, taking apart how small companies make (or lose) money, and arguing about markets with anyone who'll engage. This is where I write it down.

A lot of what shows up here comes out of real things rather than theory: researching stocks every week with an investment club, watching a small venture wrestle with fixed costs and cash flow, sitting at a sales desk and learning how deals actually close, and living between India and the US, two places with very different ideas about saving, risk, and status.

The goal isn't hot takes or predictions. It's to write the kind of piece I'd have wanted to read before I understood a topic: plain, honest, and hopefully still useful a year later instead of just this week.

If something here is wrong, or you just see it differently, tell me, that's half the point. You can reach me at bhargav3009@gmail.com.
